Finally! We Remodel...: 09/11/11

Friday,September 9th

The flooring arrived! The truck showed up about 3:00pm, started unloading the pallets (two) and promptly knocked one off the back of the truck. Then Craig decided he would start moving the wood into the house without help. Finally, it was all unloaded! :o)))))


Delivered to the curb...

It smells like Christmas trees...

Since we moved into our 1940's track home over ten years ago, I have wanted to remodel the kitchen. My husband wanted a two care garage. Those two desires has lead to a complete remodel, including moving the kitchen from one side of the house to the other and tearing down the garage!

I am creating this blog to let my family and friends see what it going on, as well as giving me an outlet for what I am sure is going to be a wonderful/horrifying experience. I doubt I will give my husband, our architect, or our contractors this link. I want to be able to vent as well as brag as this process continues.

And so we begin...
