Well, the inspection didn't go that well. Apparently, despite the fact that the electrical panel is twenty feet away from the garage, the inspector demanded we put in a cut-off panel for the garage and the bonus room because they are not attached to the house. Now I get to have a big, ugly lift up panel on the side of the garage where Craig's smoking porch is going to be. Steve, our electrician, figures the second pannel is just going to be confusing if firemen need to shut off our electricity...
