We have a floor! They poured the slab today and delivered the wood for the structure!!! I was at a training so I didn't get a chance to immortalize the event...

Since we moved into our 1940's track home over ten years ago, I have wanted to remodel the kitchen. My husband wanted a two care garage. Those two desires has lead to a complete remodel, including moving the kitchen from one side of the house to the other and tearing down the garage!

I am creating this blog to let my family and friends see what it going on, as well as giving me an outlet for what I am sure is going to be a wonderful/horrifying experience. I doubt I will give my husband, our architect, or our contractors this link. I want to be able to vent as well as brag as this process continues.

And so we begin...
